The discovery of the superbug on YouTube and its rescue by an Iranian engineer and the inability of YouTube engineers to identify and fix it

YouTube, a subsidiary of Google, ranks as the world's second most frequented website, generating annual revenue in the tens of billions of dollars and boasting a user base in the billions.

In 2022, YouTube's earnings exceeded $29 billion.

Countless individuals globally contribute to its advertising revenue by producing and sharing videos on the platform. YouTube compensates these content creators for video views, allowing them to partake in the platform's advertising earnings. This has attracted a significant following, with prominent YouTubers amassing fortunes in the hundreds of millions and attaining worldwide fame, encouraging others to explore income opportunities on YouTube.

Not too long ago, Alireza Nouri, an Iranian engineer renowned as the country's top innovator, drew the attention of Google and YouTube executives through provocative tweets and the hashtag #GoogleSuperBug. In response, Google swiftly removed his Twitter and Instagram links from their platforms, igniting a contentious dialogue. Mr. Nouri challenged this tech giant, accusing them of censorship and a boycott.

In response, he promptly tweeted to have his movie link on Twitter reinstated and criticized Google's tendency to remove links rather than addressing the issues affecting billions of users. Google executives were compelled to restore his Twitter link, and they began privately following his tweets.

Among his followers was Mr. Chuck Brooks, named Cybersecurity Person of the Year, who holds the distinction of being the technology expert with the largest number of LinkedIn followers.

In addition to the #GoogleSuperBug, Mr. Nouri issued another significant tweet aimed at YouTube's CEO with the hashtag #YoutubeBigBug, announcing the discovery of a substantial bug within YouTube's system.

He revealed that this bug posed a critical disruption to YouTube's statistical infrastructure, constituting a grave threat to YouTube and its content creators. On August 23, 2023, he unveiled an exceedingly crucial video regarding the YouTube superbug, employing the hashtag #YoutubeSuperBug. This prompted YouTube engineers to work tirelessly on rectifying the issue and releasing new videos. He announced that the temporary problem had been resolved, only to resurface later. Mr. Nouri had previously submitted feedback to YouTube, but it went unnoticed due to the sheer volume of feedback or other issues. Thus, he took to Twitter to make this issue public in the hopes that Google and YouTube administrators would become aware of the problem.

The major issue identified by YouTube was a significant bug within its advertising system, a system responsible for generating tens of billions of dollars in revenue for both YouTube and international content creators. The videos demonstrated that YouTube ads were not appearing at the beginning of videos, and on August 25 and 27, Mr. Nouri posted screenshots depicting the unavailability of YouTube's monetization section. This disruption posed a substantial risk to content creators on YouTube as well as to YouTube itself, given its billion-dollar advertising ecosystem

.

August 25, the return of YouTube advertising system malfunction

This image is the most important document of YouTube's advertising system malfunction.

The videos posted on Twitter show that YouTube engineers are working to fix the problem, but it comes back after a few days, and YouTube is trying not to make this a big media disruption

Because it can reduce tens of billions of dollars from the value of Google's stock, like the several-hour disruption of Facebook and Instagram in the past few years, which reduced the value of Meta company's stock by about 11 billion dollars.

In a new tweet that he published, he announced that more than 2 weeks have passed since the announcement of YouTube's major disruption, and despite YouTube's efforts to fix it, the problem has returned many times and they have not been able to fix it

But on September 8, instead of informing and apologizing to YouTubers and advertisers, the CEO of Google unveiled a new Google service that allows users to change the Google page to their desired color

And on the same day, he announced the re-disruption of YouTube and the superbug that destroyed YouTube and Google, and he also criticized the world's leading media that instead of providing real information, they only advertise big companies.

Also, his previous tweets about the Google Superbug #GoogleSuperBug are very important

In those tweets, it is mentioned that Google's superbug severely damages all the websites of the world, including Google and millions of businesses, and endangers the security of the information of billions of users.

The statistics of the world's two largest websites, Nytimes and BBC, show that due to Google's superbug, their Alexa rank has dropped from about 40 to 80, then to 130, until the time of the Ukraine war, when it rose again.

Now consider what it will do to small and medium websites.

Also, the unemployment of millions of people around the world will be due to the Google superbug, which will be from Google and Amazon to companies and small businesses whose news has been tweeted to the CEO of Google along with his warning email in the past few years.

And this problem continues and Google has not been able to discover and correct its superbug and has endangered the work and information security of billions of users in the world .

Unfortunately, Google is not responsive and abuses its power and position.

Facebook's disruption for several hours in the past few years, as well as the information published by Mr. Nouri on Twitter about Google and YouTube, show that the technology giants are facing many problems that sometimes they are unable to solve, and in addition to billions of dollars in losses to They can seriously damage the lives of billions of people in the world in the field of personal information, job, that employees themselves are victims and unfortunately, the world's leading media are all their advertising companies and they never publish news that contains correct information about these companies so that their users are aware of their dangers.

While preparing the news, a tweet was published again stating that the YouTube advertising system was unavailable
